Default .NET Remoting

Hi,

I'm developping a Client/Server application under Vb.NET
I've done some tests with an ASP.NET webService. But for performance reasons its seem that .NET remoting(TCP) is a better solution.

When I was programming in C, Client/Server application require very careful thread management, But .NET remoting seems to handle threads using a thead pool without my intervention.

Am I right ??
Thank you

DoOmX: Don't quote me on this, but I believe you are correct. Only singleton objects would not have managed threads (obviously because there can be only one singleton object at a time)

I've used remoting in a couple projects and never had to worry about managing threads, only unmanaged objects used by my remoting objects.

HTH,
nylyst
