Unhappy HTTP Proxy

I have a program that is downloading some page content dinamically and I have added the capacity to use proxies as well.

I'm currently using the System.Net.WebProxy class for proxies. The problem is this works great with ip proxies, but I can't implement it for HTTP proxies.

Let's suppose I have the proxy set here, using a free php proxy script: "http://www.myaddress.com:80/proxy/proxy.php". If I pass this address in the constructor then the program can't connect to the desired proxy (although this address works in firefox) and I get the following exception: "The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found."

Do you have any ideas of how I can do this in VB.NET?
