Question Concurrency violation in simple datagrid view

Hi,

I've been trying to track down an answer to this problem on MSDN and here, but nothing I'm finding seems to answer my exact problem. The help files on concurrency violations are also less than helpful.

Basically, I have a simple datagrid view with a binding navigator, both generated with a wizard. Also, I've got business rule validation on the dataset filling the form. The table has a primary key consisting of an identity column, plus a unique index based on first name, last name, middle initial, and date of birth columns.

When I try to make changes to the rows in the datagrid, the validation rules fire and I get the red exclamation point in each field as expected. When I try to actually update the database through the save button or by moving off the row I get a "Concurrency Violation" exception and no rows are updated. The MSDN documentation only explains how to catch the violation, and that you should insert "code to correct the error", which is a little too nondecript for me at this stage.

I'm mostly just frustrated about this because I have a similar form for a different table that works just fine. The only difference between these forms / tables, as far as I can tell, is that the latter one only has a single primary key index column with no unique constraints.

In the attached text file I've included the code for the dataset and the form. I've been hunting down this problem off an on for about a week and I really can't proceed on my current project thread until I figure this out.

Thanks in advance for any help offered!
