Hi all you database gurus!

I am struggling with a concept regarding datatables under VB.NET.

What I want to do is grab a datatable from an SQL database, but I definitely do not want to make changes to the database.

I do want to slice, dice, remove rows, changes to the datatable/dataview.

Under VB6 + ADO I was confident I was not altering my database.
Under VB.NET I am not so sure.

If you are changing a Dataset / Datatable the changes aren't going to be pushed back unless you do a .Update on the DataAdapter.
