Default Move File From Access To SQL Server

I am working on a project in Visual Basic 2010 using an SQL Server 2005 database.

There is an Access 2000 table on my computer that I need to include in my database(it contains over 100 lines of data that I don't want to try and duplicate manually but have had no success to date. I tried the Access upsizing wizard, which threw an error with no description of why.the Tools refused to install an error with no usable information as to why. My version of the SSMS for SQL 2005 shows no process(that I can recognize) for importing a table from Access.

. I downloaded and installed SQL Server 2008R2 with Management Tools. The SQL Server installed fine, the tools (which include a function to import access tables) did not install.

Has anyone any suggestion of how I can import one Access table into an SQL Server database. I have tried everything I can think(several times in the past months, to no avail.

Problem Resolved:

If anyone else has the same situation this worked fine.
I setup the new table in SQL Server. It is a simple table with only four fields.
Next, I used ACCESS to copy the data (About 150 lines).
Then I pasted the data into a spreadsheet.
I copied the spreadsheet file using the same name as the table I SQL Server'
Using the SSME I opened the blank SQL Server table
I then pasted then copied the xls file into the SQL table...
it worked, My SQL Server table now has all of the data form the Access file.

When I previously tried to copy and past from the Access table it SQL Server did not accept the input.

I hope that this little problem and solution of mine will be of benefit to someone else.
