Can you be more specific as to the issue you are having?
What version of VB are you using?
We are not going to just give you code you need to ask specific questions so we can help you learn.
but to get started.
You will need to look into the WebBrowser control or FTP Methods.

Please read Roger_Wgnr's post again, particularly this part:

With respect to your second question, any string you store and any code you write is easily obtainable with ILDASM or .NET reflector. If you are using your own personal FTP account and doing something like this pseudocode:
Code:
Dim ftp As New FtpConnector()
ftp.Login("Farzad", "c00ldud3")
It will be trivial for someone to get your user name and password from the application. I believe the appropriate way to handle this scenario is to either create a minimally privileged FTP account that the application uses or to require the users to present their own credentials.

Just use this simple line of code:
My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile("file", "destiantion")

Enter the path to the file you want to download instead of 'file' and instead of 'destination' enter where you want the downloaded file to be stored.
