Hi,

I have enclosed a quick project which works.

Just replace the code in the button with the wav file you have.

Just unzip it to your project folder and open it with studio
Hope this helps.

Well, I did what you suggested and got no errors, but instead of the sound playing I got a noise that usually occurs when you get an error on windows(like a ding).

I have the SoundClass set up just like you did and this is the code I typed in form Form5_Load:

Private Sub Form5_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
Dim SoundInst As New SoundClass
SoundInst.PlaySoundFile("C:\Documents and Settings\daniel\My Documents\Downloads\final_answer.wav")
End Sub

Any idea why the music would not play?

Have you confirmed that the path you are using is correct?
PlaySound will play that sound when the file it is looking for does not exist.
