Hi,

lets call the object Brian and the other object Stone1
we are trying to let Brian float on the form. That is easy to do...

But! If we place Stone1 on the "road" were Brian wil float, brian will go thru Stone1 and doesn't goes around it...

How can we make that Brian will go around Stone1? And not right thru...

What you are discussing is Pathfinding, a form of AI.

I could grotesquely help you out on some tips on how to do this, but it would be better if we could both see what you are actually doing. (Remove your EXE, ZIP your project)
You can use an adaptation of shortest path to find the shortest path to the side of the stone and then move Brian back to the road or on the shortest path from there to his destination.
