Default Searching for a name (text)

Hello!

I know this is my first post and Im very sorry its a question right away. I apologize for this, but I felt that I have to ask, I was searching all over and couldnt find answer, probably I just need help to define the keywords... anyway:

I would need help in searching for a name of a monster in some game and move the mouse onto it.

Example: In middle of the screen, there is monster named: AAA I would need the program to search for the name "AAA" and move the mouse onto it.

To be honest, I have no idea how to code this... or if it is even possible

Any kind of reply is greatly apreciated
Thank you and Have a nice day!

You need to be much more specific. Is this an action game? Do you have any access to the game's code? Is this just a game you've downloaded or installed? Whet exactly do you mean when you want to search for the name? Do you want your program to examine the screen image and try to read the text?

well... I was trying to make the program as general as possible, so it can be used in many ways. But if that isnt possible, Im ok with it. So, its an RPG game, typical "where you click, there you go" game.

If the game code is necessary, I can get it, most of it is written in lua.

If it could examine the image and try to read the text would be awesome. I would stick to this. So, good would be to set an area, where the program will search for the text. (because examining of whole screen would be slow)

Thanks alot for reply!
