Default My guitar Hero Game

http://www.bebo.com/c/photos/view?Me...Id=12925060338
Hello Guys I am making a guitar hero game for my assignment at college and everything was going fine until I hit a wall.

I can move the transparent picture to left with a timer

What am wanting to do is on the picture(link shown above) is move the right transparent buttons to left side with timerso they go off the screen and then start back from the right.

Also on this I am wanting to do is when the transparent picture overlays the location of the centre button and you click in that area I want to change to another picture if you have clicked in that area.

I have been searching the internet for help on how to start this coding but nothing as come up.

can anyone help me.

You're close, but not quite there.

Here's what your code says:
  • * Make a variable that can hold a point.
    * If the picture box is at some location:
    * Set the point variable to some location.
    * Throw away the point variable.
The variable loc isn't connected to anything. I'm pretty sure you want to change the location of the picture box. You can do that with the loc variable, but you also have to use the Location property of the picture box. Instead of using the variable, try changing:
Code:
loc = New Point(...)
to:
Code:
Picnormalorangebutton.Location = loc
There's one more problem:
Code:
If Picnormalorangebutton.Location.Y - -79 Then
I think you did a typo and meant an = sign in there. Right now what's happening is you subtract -79 from the location, that returns a number, and due to historical reasons 0 means false and any other number means true. So instead of "If the button is at x coordinate -79..." you have "If adding 79 to the coordinate produces a nonzero number..." If you turn Option Strict on VB will warn you when you get in this situation.
