Default question

I have a vb.net winform and I want to utilize the windows media player. How do I make the windows media player available to my project as a control? I tried to add the AxInterop.WMPlib as a reference to my project but this does not allow me to see the control in my toolbar. Furthermore, I managed to copy code from another functional project and I have the control on my form but when I run the project, I always get the following message: "An unhandled exception of type 'InvalidActiveXStateException' occurred in axinterop.wmplib.dll" in the InitializeComponent function of the startup form. Am I even on the right track?

Thanks in advance.

Default

1) Create a project
2) Right click on the toolbox and choose "Customize Toolbox"
3) Under the COM Components tab, select "Windows Media Player" control.
4) Click OK
5) Find the control and add it to a form.
