Default "are missing design time licenses"

I am trying to open a project in VB Express 2005 and I get the following error when it is tries to upgrade the project.

Upgrade failed: Exception occurred: The reference components
StatusBar
MSComm
are missing design time licenses.

Anyone know why? Do I finally need to purchase something?

Default missing license for MSComm

OK, I found this in the KB...
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;318597

However, I never had VB 6.0, so how can I resolve this without it?

It seems .NET is trying to upgrade the vb6 project file. The vb6 project has references to COMCTL32.OCX's StatusBar.

What I would do is, remove references and use the standard StatusBar that ships with VB.NET.
