Default .Net Framework different versions

Not sure if this question goes here or not. Can 2 different versions of the .Net Framework run together smoothly or will they interfere with each other? My client has PeachTree which uses .Net Framework 1.1, but the application I'm building uses .Net Framework 3.0. Obviously, I don't want my application to prevent them from running PeachTree.

Thanks.

The .NET Framework supports side-by-side installs, and I've been successfully running 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5 apps on the same machine for a while.

Of course, if the user only has the framework 1.1 installed, they will have to install the framework 3.0 before they can use your application.

I would bet money 2/3 of .NET questions are already answered in one of these three places.
