Unhappy HELP ! deploy app in VS 2008

Hi all, i searched in this forum but could not find an answer so far..

Here is my issue : i've a nice app that's working fine in the dev. PC however it Fail to run in the target PC.
Please have more details as below :
Dev PC : WinXP SP2, VS 2008, SQLCE and SQL 2005 installed (I'm using only SQLCE), app NOT developed with ClickOnce, NetFramework 3.5
Target PC : WinXP SP2, VS 2008 EXPRESS , SQL as above , NetFramework 3.5

My App has 2 Projects : App + Setup. After building Setup the EXE works great in Dev PC. Once install the MSI file in the target PC, it won't Work (the Error message says "FileNotFound Exception"...)...

In Both the PCs the Exe has the Same folder structure which contains the Same files. The file : DataEntry.exe.config is the same in both PCs and contain the same line :
connectionString="Data Source=|DataDirectory|\Database1.sdf"
where Database1.sdf is in the same root as the EXE.

I'm NOT sure why is not working and why, after setting "Include NetFramework 3.5" under "> Property>Publish " the Setup folder do NOT include it...

Thanks a Lot for you Help !

I will assume you are using XP...

1) You may have a file dependency issue.

2) You seem to be using ODBC instead of a DSN-Less connection. If you are using ODBC you need to setup a ODBC connection on the target machine that you would not have to do using a DSN-Less connection.
