Default Setup Project in VS 2010 Query

Hi. This is the first time I'm making a 'professional' project in Visual Basic 2010. I've just migrated from Visual Basic 6.
I've done the coding.
I've added the required project files into a Setup Project.

What I need to know is whether the Setup Project will take care of the dependencies that it detects in my project i.e.
(i) Microsoft .NET Framework
(ii) Microsoft.VisualStudio.HostingProcess.Utilities.Sync

For example, on my client's machine, .NET Framework 4 is not installed and neither is any sort of Visual Studio software. Will the Setup Project work for that machine or do I have to manually include the dependency files in the setup?

I need to get this done A.S.A.P. and any help would be greatly appreciated.

The setup project should open a folder for you to see called "Detected Dependencies" in which it will list what it needs to pre-install in the target machine in order to run the installation msi file.
you can also see it in the Launch Conditions section of the Setup Project.

in any case, by right clicking on your project in the project explorer and selection "properties", you'll be able to see a "prerequisite" button in which you can select which software you need to install on the target machine. Normally it would have the .NET framework of your VS version and the Windows Installer pre-selected.

Hope this helps.

p.s. it is important to note that the prerequisite software will be installed when the Setup.exe is run, if they are needed, but will not run if only the msi is being run.
