Default Plotting lines on graph (using GDI)

Dear all,

I'm working on an audiometer and would like to know how i can plot lines accordingly.

At a certain frequency at different decibels, it will test the hearing of an individual and plot accordingly.

E.g At 500Hz, I will run through 60dB to -10dB. If a button is pressed, that would be the threshold for the hearing of an individual.

The graph is to plot accordingly. I do not know how to "dim" points and work it out. Please assist.

It is to be..In the example of the scenario:

Testing at 500Hz, 60dB, if the person has heard, he will press a button. A marker should indicate that he has heard it. This would be the first threshold level..

Next, testing at 500Hz, 50dB, if the person has heard, he will press a button. A marker should indicate that he has heard it. This would be the second threshold level..

Next, testing at 500Hz, 40dB, if the person has heard, he will press a button. A marker should indicate that he has heard it. This would be the third threshold level..

If let's say, the next 500Hz at 30dB, he did not hear, the threshold level would remain at 500Hz, 40dB.

We'll then proceed to the next frequency, at 1kHz... and the cycle repeats, once the program detects the threshold level, it would then plot accordingly together with the first plot and this carries on till the test is completed.

Please help me.. Don't know how to go about it. Have tried drawing lines and etc already.
I'm using the attached file as a template to work with, below are the codes:

Dim g As Bitmap
g = chart(1).Image
Dim drawing As Graphics = Graphics.FromImage(g)
With chart(1)
chart(1).SizeMode = PictureBoxSizeMode.StretchImage
chart(2).Location = New Drawing.Point(81, 81)
chart(1).Visible = True
chart(1).Size = New System.Drawing.Size(923, 506)
chart(1).Refresh()
Dim pen2 As New Pen(Color.Red, 1)
drawing.DrawLine(pen2, 142, 124, 213, 176)
End With
