Default VISIO in an .NET application

Hi,

Can some one give me any pointers?

I have created a visio diagram which incorporates buttons with VB code behind them.

What I want to do is make this available for all staff to use. If i publish as an HTML file on the network it works ok, but none of the VB functionality is retained.

I was thinking of putting it an application but need to know if there is such a thing as a Visio component that will allow me to enbed it in a form.

Can anyone help?

thanks

I believe there is a Visio-viewer available for download at MS-site that You may check:
http://office.microsoft.com/officeup...CD010224941033

As for using VB-functions with a viewer I have no experience at all to share with You.

However, I can also mention that You can consider to start the viewer / file in VB.Net by Adding on the top of the form:

Code:
[size=2][color=#0000ff]Imports[/color][/size][size=2] System.Diagnostics[/size]

In the following:
Code:
[size=2][size=2][color=#0000ff]Private[/color][/size][size=2][color=#0000ff]Sub[/color][/size][size=2] Button1_Click([/size][size=2][color=#0000ff]ByVal[/color][/size][size=2] sender [/size][size=2][color=#0000ff]As[/color][/size][size=2] System.Object, [/size][size=2][color=#0000ff]ByVal[/color][/size][size=2] e [/size][size=2][color=#0000ff]As[/color][/size][size=2] System.EventArgs) [/size][size=2][color=#0000ff]Handles[/color][/size][size=2] Button1.Click Diagnostics.Process.Start("e:\arbetsmaterial\Infoga.xls") [/size][size=2][color=#0000ff]End[/color][/size][size=2][color=#0000ff]Sub[/color][/size] [/size][size=2][/size]

Which You will need to adjust to Visio instead of Excel and You can read more about Diagnostic and Process in the directhelp.

There exist a Visio Modelling Engine-component but I have no expierence working with it in that way only handling Visio as COM-object.

yes,

I got the visio reader.dll and put it in a form but it just acts like an HTML viewer so the vb is not available.

I think I may be snookered!
