Question Printer Help Needed

I have a word document that has blanks where info would be filled in. I was wondering it there was a way to have the text from the textboxes that are on my form be placed into those blanks when it prints. Or is it possible to just print out the text from the textboxes on a piece of paper in the spot where the blanks would be... (given that the form is already on the paper being feed through the printer.) if anyone can help please post.

Synchronizing the printer positions sounds all-but impossible.

I think you'd need to Automate Word. I would think that a Text/Replace concept could work nicely if your "blanks" are well tagged? That is, finding "<Blank1>" and then "<Blank2>", etc. is a lot easier than trying to track down white-space.

Anyway, do you have any Automation code so far? Or do we need to "take it from the top" as they say?

Bookmarks is not a bad idea either. Ultimately we'll need a real "Word" guy to swing by, I'm really no good at it.

I don't know if this is the link that XLeoX had in mind, but it looks pretty good:Open Word and go to a bookmark in VB .NET It looks like a good step in the right direction...

[Edit: Corrected XLeoX's spelling... Sorry XLeox!]
