Default Moving Forward With Visual Basic

As we are getting more and more Visual Basic.Net questions a decision has been made by the leadership to begin answering these questions here. It seems that many people, whether it’s because of the community here, or simply because they prefer approaching it from more of a VB rather than a framework standpoint, are more comfortable asking their questions on this forum. We have been discussing this for some time now, it has been well thought through, and we have decided the time is right to proceed with it.

Note that we are not going to handle C# or Managed C++. We are not out to compete with our sister forum Extreme DotNetForums. This forum is for VB, which includes VB.Net. EDNF is for .Net, which includes VB.Net. There will naturally be some overlap, but since we're approaching the subject from different directions ("what VB.Net does" vs. "what the framework does") it should work out fine. Questions that are not strictly VB related will still be referred to EDNF.

Please take a minute to look over the new layout, and try to make sure you post your questions in the appropriate section.
