New replies

Would it be possible to change the way replies are flagged and reset? Currently, they reset whenever you leave, even if you haven't read the topic. For instance, after being away for awhile I had approximately 1200 posts to catch up on (in the VB Help forum, still working on API, VBA and DB). However, not being Thinker ;) I couldn't do that all at one sitting. When I came back I didn't have the flags to show which posts/replies were still new for me. Instead of automatically resetting possibly add a button in each forum for resetting whenever the user chooses to do so?

What you describe happens to me *sometimes*, but not always. Typically it occurs when I switch computers or after the server goes down.

Yes that happens to me too.... do you think that this suggestion could go to the Webmaster? Possibly?

This happens to me every time I disconnect from the Internet. Like you I do not have the stamina of Thinker images/icons/smile.gif and can only read so much before I go to bed. It would be nice if the flags for unread posts/replies would stay indefinitely.
