vb game to snes romblursea 08-21-2001, 02:44 PM how can i transform my vb game to a super nintendo or megadrive or game boy rom orufet 08-21-2001, 03:09 PM I'm not familiar with Super Nintendo or any other Gaming platform, but I don't think it's possible. I think VB applications are for Windows 95 and higher.... Jacob Sheehy http://www.sheehy.ca "Error, no keyboard — press F1 to continue." BillSoo 08-21-2001, 03:17 PM You would have to rewrite your code using assembly or C. Then compile it to an image, then burn it into a ROM. This is NOT an easy thing to do. Do you have an e-prom burner? Do you have the documents and specs of the cards? Do you have a C compiler for the nintendo processor? If not, then you can pretty much forget about it... I believe there is some tools that can help you but they will (most likely) be in C. this is getting to be a big underground hobby and you should find some help but VB is overlooked in this field. I must warn you that the legalities of this are clear, If you own a legal copy of the game you are emulating then you will be OK ( in the U.S.A.) but if you do not own a legal copy of the game in question, you are breaking the law. If this is an original game you made you still might need some license from Nintendo. I do recall downloading some ATARI 2600 compiler a couple years ago and will bet you could find one for SNES.
