Does anyone have any info on the file cards.dll that used to (and might still) come with Windows for all the card games that come with Windows like Solitaire? Is it possible to use that dll in my card programs?

It probably has a link to one of a web page as well. The thread I responded to before wasn't found by searching for cards.dll , but was found searching for cards. http://www.visualbasicforum.com/showthread.php?t=97938&highlight=cards Look for "Cards32.zip" in the post. It was a very simple example of dragging pictureboxes around that had the cards in them, as a quick example, nothing fancy. You will probably find plenty of useful stuff doing the search on "cards.dll" bk2003 09-06-2003, 12:18 PM Here is a good link... http://www.rookscape.com/vbgaming/tutU.php beachcomber 09-07-2003, 07:52 PM cards.dll is the 16bit version and can not be used in vb. You need the cards32.dll (make sure it is the Microsoft Version). You can get the calls to the dll from msdn - look for the listing for hardcore visual basic. |
