I'm currently looking at version control software, CVS, SourceSafe, and the like, anyone have any experience with any of this? If anyone has used this and has anything to say, Pro/Con for any of this kind of software, I'd appreciate it if they would share. Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
We are using Visual Source Safe and All Fusion to control & mange the Version and Code. VSS is a easy tool & it is very much suitable for small industry. All fusion is little bit tough toll, but it has greate controls on codes.
For a example in VSS controled file, you can easily unlock the file by changing the attribute of the file (unchecking the Read only check box)
But you cannot do this in AF
