does N E 1 know how to get a program to email itself to another person when the user clicks a button? Also does N E 1 know how to sense things in a webbrowser box?

You can email through a MAPI object or through an SMTP server. I have written a short tutor on using hotmails SMTP service to send a mail via telnet. I also included some sample VB code.
It should be fairly easy to automate it.
