Open mp3 file by my own app

I hope it is not a stupid question, i spent a whole day just checking the special key in the registry which changes the

defult app for opening mp3 files. anyone knows?

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/mp3file/shell/%filepath%

Something like that - i think it varies according to computer.
