Would you mind posting your code once you've finished this project? I think we would all like to see what you have been working on, as it seems like a useful utility which could have many good code examples in it. Just a thought...

Hmmm......I guess we'll see....

In anycase, the API function you need is ShellExecute. There is a tutorial on it.

Imb i stuck up for you once, now earn it. a lot of questions you have asked can be answered if you'd take a few minutes/hours and dig for them. notice the forum provides a perfectly functional search feature located near the top left of the page, not to mention you have the whole internet at your fingertips
