I found some posts on this forum, but it looks like it takes too long to get use to html help workshop for example. Since I only have a few days to make something, I'll go with a simple html file included in the package i think... If you know an easy and fast solution, go ahead. I had some good suggestions already on this subject in a first post, thanks again...

find attatched a simple help form I made before, obviously I have not added all the html files, but it should give you a good idea of how to get started

BTW I just checked the attatchment and realised that you will have to add MS Windows Common Controls 6.0 and the webbrowser control references to the form

there is a prgram out there somewhere called RoboHelp <font color=yellow>Html</font color=yellow>. It allows you to compile chm files

I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that Robohelp was in the order of CAD$800+.....

This might clarify that:

<a target="_blank" href=http://www.mvps.org/htmlhelpcenter/far.htm><font color=blue>Rob Chandler's "Robohelp" </font color=blue></a>

This web-site provides a handy tutorial. The only thing is that the tut mentions a MS web site where you can download HTML Help Workshop for free. I couldn't find anything at MS, which concerns me a bit because it looks like MS isn't supporting this "new-beaut" help format! If anyone can shed some light on this........I'm all ears images/icons/smile.gif
