im not good with graphics myself but there are a few places that have examples, www.pscode.com/vb has thing there but its not always commented that well. www.allapi.net is a good place to try though. or you can look in the source code part of the forum to find examples. a GOOD place to learn api is to buy dan applemans- "visual basic programmers guide to the win32 API." It's not cheap but very informative.

Ok....it's basically visual, what about the rest?
Edited by anomaly on 10/04/01 05:38 AM.

If you're aiming towards gaming then you would do well to learn DirectX if you've already got a good grasp of VB fundamentals. It is very powerful, and once set up and initialised, makes graphical (and sound, input, music, and multiplyayer) really easy. I cannot overstate its power, it really is awesome. Plus, best of all, it is FAST!
