One of my teachers at school wants to know if screensavers can be made with Visual Basic. Well, I know it's possible with DirectX, but I was just wondering if it's possible without it and how. So, if anyone knows of a way to do it, I would be grateful if you could explain how. Thanks!

yes it is. Search the forum for keyword "Screensaver" and you'll find plenty of links to get started.

MSDN (sic) also gives some tips on how to do this, and I *think* it didn't require DirectX (don't recall for sure).
