Ident in proxy server

Hey all anyone know how to set up proxy server2.0 to allow ident requests through? I have been racking my brains for days now trying to get this set up all to no avail. It's getting to the point on IRC where the only Efnet server I can access is homelien and it is down fairly often.

Appreciate any thoughts on this one.

Just so everyone can see what is happening in mIrc here is the messages I am getting from one server:

[14:50:32] -irc.colorado.edu- *** Looking up your hostname...
-
[14:50:33] -irc.colorado.edu- *** Checking Ident
-
[14:50:33] -irc.colorado.edu- *** Couldn't look up your hostname
-
[14:50:33] -irc.colorado.edu- *** No Ident response
-
Closing Link: dcl3500[unknown@255.255.255.255] (You are not authorized to use this server)

and yes I do have Ident turned on in mIrc. The problem is (I think) with MS Proxy Server not letting the Ident requests through to my workstation.

Well doggoneit when I "go" to work I don't have a problem connecting. images/icons/smile.gif I use WinProxy there. At home I use Proxy Server images/icons/frown.gif.
