i want to make some resourse files for my programs but i cant find the editor, i was in some chat and LOTS of things were going on but i kinda got the idea that it had to be installed with visual Studio? beats me, please heeelp

I downloaded the resource editor directly from Microsoft's Download center.
You should check there.

If you have VB6, look on the Addin Manager for VB 6 Resource Editor.
Check the loaded and/or load on startup boxes and OK. There will now
be a new icon on your toolbar, and a new option on the Tools menu.
I think therefore I am... sometimes right. images/icons/wink.gif
