Hi,

Does anyone know if these two methods can be used to extract information from an OLE object to a new file? For example, can I use them to get the original document's name which was inserted in an OLE field so that it can be exported to a file and be saved on the user's hard drive?

I have an example of this on my site. I have never tried to save it out of say a database to a locate spot on the harddrive. Take a look at this it may give you new ideas.
