Guys and Gals,
When I was studying at University a couple of years ago we were taught the value of design. Since then I've gone off and ignored everything I was ever tought. However now as my projects get bigger and bigger i'm feelin the need to design my programs more. My question is does anybody know of any good FREE case modeling tools or just simple design tools that can be used to plan out a VB app before I start my coding madness? Something that would create a VB shell from a design would be nice but i'd settle for being able to build a design first without using paper???

Cheers

I tend to use <font color=blue>MS Visio </font color=blue> for all of my documentation

To be honest, pen and paper is often the easiest way to design things. If you're working in big team then it is useful for the other designers if you can neaten it up on computer but for your own conceptualisations and thinking work, pen and paper is just so much easier.
Actually, I quite often use a huge white board as well.

If you are doing classes/client-server/n-tier development, you might want
to look into the Visual Modeler addin. It can create shell code from the
design. It can also reverse engineer classes.

I think therefore I am... sometimes right. images/icons/wink.gif
