Monitoring API calls

Hi

Anyone knows how to monitor when an API-call is made...?

I need to check for example when the user shuts down the machine interupt this shut down do some things and then resume the shutdown...is this possible? and how?

They QueryUnload Event of a form will tell you that windows is shutting down and allows you to cancel the shutdown.
