I am creating a football pool program and have decided to use a database to help do all the tracking. I was wondering if everyone whom I distribute this program to will need to have access on their computer to use it. (The database I use is an access one.)

If you are simply using ADO or DAO to interact with the Access MDB from a VB application, then no, you do not need to have Access installed.
If the entire application was written using Access or if the VB application is referencing the Access Object Library, then yes, you do need to have Access installed.

Right on! That's definitely good to know... thanks for the info.
