I have a borderless form so that i can skin it and i am wondering how to change where the MainMenu component shows up. I havent been able to find any .Top or any location properties.

the main menu will show at the top on a borderless form , if you want a menu to pop up elsewhere , look at the Context menu control.

Yes, but is there a way to make it act as a MainMenu component or is it just a single vertical right-click menu?

You can try creating a button, coloring and styling it to blend into the skin then when the user left clicks it, display the context menu at the bottom-left corner of the button, it should look believeable.

SandBar (http://www.divil.co.uk/net/controls/sandbar/) will do this without a single line of code. And it's free for non-commercial use.
