can anyone suggest a way to desing a database in access that works like a playlist

what i want to create is a way of holding a range of numbers that would be used as indicies(like 1, 45, 34,2, etc), that VB could use to move to slide 1, slide 45.

you could use a lot of fields to do this but dont think that is a good idea at all,
many thanks

What you need to do is list all the fields you require and then split them into different tables, using primary number keys to link them to each other, so that you don't have any repeated data in the tables.

This is called normalisation and is one of the standard ways to design a database.
