hello all,
i've been programming for a couple of years now but only recently started creating client server apps.

the basics of this post is...
can some one tell me what ms back office actually does?

I've checked out the msdn doccumentation, but all this serves is teck help and features. i'm lacking the basic concept.

MS Back Office is a remote control program. You install the server on your computer you want control of, then use the client to connect to it, and then issue it commands. You can browse the drives, copy files, edit the registry, shell apps etc.
