I was just wondering if there is any way that and how can i create a web page where a user would input data and then the data is then stored in a database and in turn can be opened in the visual basic environment any help is appreciated thanks

sure, you could open the database in VB 6. Just create a typical ADO connection to the db type and retrieve the data.
The overall structure of your database and the entire Web interface (the end user structure and how data is retrieved, processed) is a big design issue and we won't do that for you :). But basically, if you need a utility to open an existing database that holds data from users it is very possible.

ok i understand that i will be the one to create the database lol :P :) thats not a problem lol thnk you for the help tho just one question what exactly is an ADO connection to my database type?

You can use ADO to read/write data in a database from an ASP webpage.
