VB/ADO Problem

I am having some trouble inserting records into a db. The connection string is fine but I get an error when I do the insert. I have tried the .open and .execute approaches with the same result. I have poured over the connection string and the sql statement and they look fine. We are connecting to Access XP using Active Data Objects 2.7. Is that the problem?

Could you post the error message that you are getting and the code that is performing the insert?
