What is the maximum number of records you can input into an Access database? I heard that 32000 was the maximum and that means that the program I am working on will become worthless after 2 months

65 employees
58 records each a week
52 weeks a year
65 X 58 X 52 = 196040 records a year!

So if anybody knows the truth to my question, that would be great!
I'm new to Access and Databases so if you know of any other programs or databases that would work better, that'd be greaaaat.

I don't think there is a known or documented maximum for records but have heard that there is a total file size limit of 2 gigs. Look at the following link for discussions on the topic.

thanks! That thread is back and forth but as long as I don't modify(just add records, dont move em around!) anything I should be fine. Thanks again!
