chat room tools

Im new at this but i wanna make a tool that works with a chat room Ex: when a person types in the chat room /join he joins the game.

can you kinda hlep me im not to good with communications

I think we need *way* more explanation of what it is youre trying to do.

background info on your project, what else it does, etc...

You have to give us more information on what you are doing. This chat program of yours is it java chat or vb chat??? We need more info.
