I'm creating a full screen app for the visually imparied (its a magnifier) and i need to basically enlarge an image which contains text and some basic graphics. It needs to be a full screen app with the image mapped to the mouse movements (i.e. i move the mouse and the image scrolls along to read the text) ... so basically is Direct X Direct Draw my best bet? What other tools could i use instead (e.g. Open GL??? or is text easier in DirX?) Then where should i start learning, any good online tutorials peeps can recommend? And can i use Direct X to display a VB form in fullscreen mode? Excuse the vauge open questions but I really havent a clue where to start and need a few knowledagble nudges in the right direction! Thanx Steve-o- :O)
