How do you make the release version of the exe? I think that you have to do more than just set it to "release". Also, how do you make a installer for your program? And what DLLs and stuff are required?

I get the following error:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

you have to hit Build Solution or on you keyboard hit Ctrl+Shift+B and i think VB.NET makes the .DLLs for you:Start>My Documents>Visual Basic Project>Windows Application>Bin>En>.DLL File. and you can make an installer, open VB.NET>File>New>Project...>Setup and deployment projects then theyre should be something there that you can click to make one

It did not create the En folder. Have you done this before?

Because that is where it defaultly realeases the program, you can change that by setting where it goes in the Application properties

I have the student edition, and im worndering if that is the problem? It never gives any kind of error that would make me believe that, but I guess it could be the problem? The VB does not even have a notice on it that says it is student edition.
