What Control?

Ok, I am wanting to open a Web page in an External Browser, but Not IE, i want though to also be able to add to the header, i know this can be done using the WebBrowser Control, however as i said the browser isn't IE. How can i do this, or am i going to have to make a very odd setup that makes my program act as like a proxy and send the whole header request from there?

Please Anyone...
Or anyone have any ideas of how it could possibly be done?

I really don't understand what you are trying to do.

If you want to use an external browser then at least this other browser should be available on your user machine.

would opening the default browser work I know that doesnt fix the fact that U dont want to use IE but maybe it might help:

This works for a label but U can change it to fit your needs

Private Declare Function ShellExecute Lib "shell32.dll" Alias _
"ShellExecuteA" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal lpOperation As String, _
ByVal lpFile As String, ByVal lpParameters As String, _
ByVal lpDirectory As String, ByVal nShowCmd As Long) As Long

Private Sub somecontrolhere_controls action()
Dim ret&
ret = ShellExecute(Me.hwnd, "Open", _
"http://www.yahoo.com", _
"", "", 1)
End Sub

Private Sub Form_Load()
With somecontrolhere_controls actio
.Caption = "www.yoursite.com"
End With
End Sub

sorry i badly named the Subject because i later reworded my question and i think i threw people off,

Using the webbrowser Control i can do

Dim ExtraHeaders as String
ExtraHeaders = Text1.Text 'Or whatever i hardcode
WebBrowser1.Navigate "http://www.google.com", "1", " ", , ExtraHeaders

This will open up a new IE window and add the header info for me.

What i want to do is do this in my default browser Mozilla, or any browser the user selects from within the program

So is it possible to append the Headers onto a browser or Http stream like we can with the webrowser control or am i only going to be allowed to do a proxy sytem and catch the header data and append it from there.

Thanx for any replies
