Hi you all,
I am presuming that cookies are used to keep track of what posts you already viewed so that the new post counter aka in red "(2)" is displayed correctly. two questions: what is the expiration on the cookie and why does sometimes the counts get reset aka does not take into account the posts I have already read on a thread. thank you
regards
jcd

I have seen this problem as well, normally in the morning when I've got a load of genuine new posts to read. It just seems to like making life difficult images/icons/smile.gif.

Actually, I think that my Forum Checker might cause some of those problems images/icons/frown.gif. It happens when the cookies expire or something. Since the Forum Checker is logged in all the time... it can totally happen.

I think.

Actually, I don't have a clue. I'm just flapping my gums. Sorry.
