Well, yes... B-O-R-E-D-O-M.
But check out what happens if you're bored and decide to do something freaky. (See attachment to the left).

Perhaps I'll post the source sometime. Just goes to show, where there's a will there's a way. images/icons/wink.gif

Hey, that's pretty cool!
Hand, you really should put together a package of cool interface tips that should never be used in a professional application! images/icons/smile.gif

Thats cool Hand, if a little disgusting look at images/icons/tongue.gif.
Know what would be cool? A menu that fades in and out of translucency.... heh. Or one with animated/moving textures... heh. Or maybe both...... sickening.

You just kept looking at that x-ray of the hand, until you went crazy and
decided to make menus look like that. images/icons/wink.gif images/icons/laugh.gif

Dude.. wicked as that is..... (and you really should package all your stuff together. Could make you a tidy profit... images/icons/wink.gif) you *really* need to get out more..... hee hee
Just kidding bud. Post the source! Post the source!
I did something similar a while back, only not with menus. Just a see through form hat you could drag around the desktop, and when you stopped dragging it, you could draw directly to the desktop. Done by setting a region in the form, then when it stops moving, take a picture of whats in the hole, and setting that to a picturebox on the form, which you then make visible and reset the old region of the form.
Something like that yeh?

Or, with 2 lines of code, you could have just enabled the LAYERED style of the window and given it translucency :P

If you happen to have windows 2000 or XP, sure you could use the layered stuff.
But there are still alot of people out there that still have 95/98/NT. I happen to be one of them.

Yeah... its brutal I know. But source code will be coming soon. Still have a few little bugs to squash.
