Smilily faces not showing up

<font color=orange>I don't know if this is just me...but those smilie faces people use in there post never show up for me...all they are are <font color=red>Red X's</font color=red>. Does this happen to anyone else? Here are the URLs to some of the smilies that the picture may link to...<font color=green>

When i goto any of those links...i get page cannot be displayed.

You're not going to be able to link directly to the CGI-bin anyway. You'll get an access denied error.

Here is the real link. Since you have all those outdated links, you might
want to clear your cache, and if that doesn't work, you might need to
change style sheets, view a page in that style, then change back to
your original style sheet.

ok...deleted my cache..didnt work, changes style didnt work...but..i am using the perl forum..is there a problem with that? i checked on the php version and the smiles worked just fine on there...shrug.

I just checked the Perl forums and the links are indeed broken... My suggested solution? Use the php forum. images/icons/smile.gif &lt;-- Oh that's right, you can't see that! ;)

The perl forums are being phased out. You really need to change
to the php forums.

There isn't going to be a perl forum for much longer, so you might want to make the transition soon.

i switched over now...the only reason i hadnt was when it was first made, there was a problem with it kept loging me out whenever i came back to the page, and i had to keep logging back in, so i never had switched. seems to work now soo...problem solved.
