Is it just me?

Is it just me, or do I have to manually click the "Mark this forum as read" before the icons on the main page stop being red?

This new forum doesn't seem as intuitive as the last one.

It isn't just you. This is seriously harder to use than the old forum. Although some of the new features are rather nice.
