Object animation in VB?

I want to implement a couple of animations in my VB applications (simple animation,movement forwards or left-hand...). Since it´s a new topic for me Can anyone tell me something about it? How can I start? where can I more information find?....

You could find an animation of a waving hand on the internet. Or you could get 2 pictures and use MouseLeave, MouseEnter, and MouseHover.
